Hi everyone, this post is going to be about my absolute Favorite Coffee & Desserts spots in KL. I really like to go to café's.. When I was younger, I didn't like coffee that much, I prefer tea and to be honest, if it was between coffee and tea, I have to have my teh O Ais (Iced tea) everyday. Since high school and uni life, I started going to coffee shops and I would always get a vanilla latte or caramel macchiato not to mention all the frappes at Starbucks!. My favourite type of coffee house or café has to have good coffee and good desserts! It also has to be reasonably priced~

Cappuccino. I really don't like the coffee beans here that much, I find that I have to add sugar in it which is what I don't normally do for my coffee unless it's an Americano. But the environment is really calming and it's a really good place to catch up with old friends for lunch or tea or a good place to have dinner for birthdays. The only thing is the food can be quite pricey. They are also opening another outlet at Bangsar Village I!!! It's called Acme South. I can't wait to go when it's open! |

Wood & Steel Cafe is my go-to cafe. I've tried almost every coffee on the menu. I don't like their latte because it's served in a glass but I really enjoy the mocha here. Their hot chocolate comes with coffee art too. I've gotten soo many coffee arts already and it makes my day :) hot chocolate is RM 9 and mochas and cappuccinos are RM 10. I also really like the seafood carbonara here RM 17. as well a sandwich I've tried. I should probably post all the coffee arts I've received in another post, just for fun ^^ The only thing about this place is that it's always crowded..all the hipsters in KL goes here..so it's not a good place to be at during the weekends. I also tried Podgy & The Banker at Hartamas. One of the co-founder for Podgy & The Banker opened Wood & Steel so they have the same drinks and similar desserts and food available. Wood & Steel Cafe & Gallery 33G, Jalan PJU 5/20E, The Strand, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya Open 9am-11pm, Tues-Sun; 3pm-11pm on Fridays, closed on Mondays. Kitchen opens 9am-10,30pm |
