Hair Inversion Method Update & Inspirational Quotes

Hi everyone, it's been a month already since I made this post  and here are my thoughts and two cents on it.

I did a lot of research on the inversion method and it says to do it for around 4-5 minutes twice a day, every day for a week and then you skip a week so that you won't get used to it. Some people wait 3 weeks before doing it again! So it's really up to you. At first I did it every day and night of the first week sometimes with oil and sometimes without oil because I don't wash my hair everyday because it was my stay at home period and I also fell sick early this month. You're not supposed to wash your hair everyday if you want to grow your hair longer. This is because your scalp needs the natural hair oil that it produces. SO I wash my hair every Tuesday and Friday or Saturday. That is when I would do the inversion method using my oil mix of Argan oil and EVOO Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I did the inversion method during the first and third week~ I did NOT heat up the oil most of the time because as you massage the oil into your scalp, your hands will disperse heat.

So what's the results? My hair grew an inch. My normal hair growth is an inch or 1.5 inches a month. So that's pretty normal. I did NOT measure my hair because when I started doing the inversion method, I have just dyed my hair around 4-5 days before so I can just look at how long my roots have grown. It grew longer at the back of my head because that is where I focused on the massages. SO in the end, it DID NOT work on me, at least not as well as it's supposed to. You can't force your hair to grow as rapidly as an inch per week because you have to keep count when was the last time your hair got longer, what is the average length it will grow in a month etc etc.

What it taught me was how to make my hair grow healthier! The weather changes in my country right now from raining everyday to raining less (since the monsoon season will end) makes my scalp flake sometimes so it's also hard to wash my hair every 3 days but it's totally worth it on good weather days! I have not been using the hairdryer using heat settings in years so that helps too! It really does make a difference compared to when I used to wash my hair everyday if not the next day! When I air dry it, I don't even need to use the blow dryer with cool air or the hair straightener to make it look sleek and soft! So make sure you use a good wooden brush or a paddle brush and a good hair dryer for days when you really need to use a hair dryer! Will I do the inversion method again? No but I will massage my scalp every now and then to help with not washing my hair until the third day~~

I wasn't dissapointed because honestly I just had that uneasy after hair cut feeling and it was making me go quite crazy hahah! having hair with blunt ends drives me crazy and so I am much happier now. Now that I am practicing scalp massages, I probably will not cut my hair till next year or something, we'll see!

I had a lot of mood swings when 2015 started...A LOT of dramas happened. I'm not gonna talk about it because it's quite pointless but TLDR; is I rather have no friends than having friends who butts in my relationship! and also people show their true colours after a while and some people are so full of shit, so full of dramas and it is not the people I want to surround myself with. I was quite embarrassed to feel a little bit depressed but I guess this is life..

On a side note, I really LOVE inspirational quotes and having a philosophy of life so to kick start the new year, I would love it if everyone take some time to read some amazing quotes and live by them. Have an amazing year everyone!
