Hi everyone, I hope you have had an amazing start to 2015 so far! I decided to post some tips on getting presents and gifts for your girlfriend..whether or not you are the boyfriend or just a girl looking for presents for your girlfriends. The reason is because a lot of people ask and even e-mail me about this so here you go!

However, after six days of being on antibiotics, eating & drinking cranberries/the juice, staying well rested & hydrated...oh and watching K dramas and playing league helped me too..I am feeling much better now :)
Soo despite being a city girl, I must admit that I've never actually been on lots of journeys where I just walk on the streets. It has always been about driving to malls and being in my comfort zone. Last year, when I was wazing (using my waze GPS app) to get to Coffee Amo at Jalan Sultan with my boyfriend, we decided to check out Petaling Street. SO at 21, I finally visited that place. I've heard about it before, they sell cheap things but it's dangerous to walk alone if you're a girl! I see a lot of white women walking alone and I guess locals do not bother foreigners as much as locals because nothing is weirder than harassing someone who won't understand what you're saying..I guess. Anyway if you're walking alone anyway, the trick is to wear dark sunglasses..Never feel scared and don't look down, and always walk with your head up! Rambled too much there but is the place where I found cheap flowers for gifts that not many people know about~~
Presents For Girlfriend in KL1. The first thing you need to do is to
Find Out what your girlfriend like or has been wanting to get. Does she play games? new headphones perhaps? or could it possibly be a bag or makeup? I usually stay away from gifting perfumes unless you already that person likes it because scent is very personal and something you like or think would smell nice on somebody might be a total turn off for another person. Also note her favourite stores..for example, I have friends who like to go to Forever 21, another who prefers to only wear T-shirts everyday, also a friend who constantly wears hoodies from Pull & Bear.
2. If you STILL don't know what to get, then shame on you! If it is someone you truly care about this means that you haven't been paying attention! Getting something for a girl is definitely easier then getting something for a guy because there are a lot of choices for girls compared to guys. Some things are common and more specific to get for girls like
flowers, balloons and stuffed animals (see?) but always get a thoughtful gift as not every girl will like those kind of stuff and even if they do, what kind of flowers, what kind of balloons and what kind of stuffed animals? figure it out.
3. What to get someone who has everything? Someone who doesn't show interest in getting anything because she has pretty much everything she wants. Plan her
a surprise! Go somewhere special..Bake or order a custom cake for her!

If you are planning to make your surprise/presents even more special, always get a
handwritten card! A card can cost you about 7-12 Ringgit Below are some flowers that you can get from Petaling Street, KL. A bouquet of flowers and stuffed animals costs approximately RM 35 each. You can also get them to make you a custom bouquet if you want. These are great for other occasions too, like graduation and anniversary. I feel like gifting is mandatory at least 3 times a year, Valentines Day, Birthdays and Anniversary. Also Christmas if you celebrate~ but then again you don't need a reason to do something special for someone if you feel like it! Read my captions on the pictures below to read my comparison notes~~

Why get a stuffed animals & flowers bouquet? WELL they don't die! your girlfriend can keep it in
her room forever and ever and ever..
Some people frame dried flowers bouquet and some people can also frame these as well!

RM 35 at Petaling Street. If you go to a florist in malls, a bouquet (usually a dozen)
cost up to 200 Ringgit and 25 Ringgit for a single rose at some places. I think that's ridiculous but the
roses at certain florists do have more rose petals like the one I got in my past post. But if it was me,
I'd get a bouquet here and that will save me some money to pay for the actual gift!
And remember that these are real flowers and so they will wither and die anyway! |

You can also get single roses/flowers. One is RM 2.50 each and the salesperson will probably
give you a discount if you plan to get a lot~ A great idea is to gift a rose for every anniversary.
Like 1 year = 1 rose.. 2 years = 2 roses. Probably NOT a good idea if you're trying to impress
someone, don't want to be cheap! lol but I think it's still a sweet idea, which should be
explained properly of course. The blue roses are actually white roses, they were given
blue water/floral dye. Hence, blue water gives you blue roses! I thought it was interesting.
You can have them keep the stems long or cut them short.
